Look out for the January and February issues of Raleigh’s Midtown Magazine, where “Ask the Expert” will be featuring Dr. Singletary as the expert!
A diplomate of the Board of Periodontology, Dr. Singletary has completed research and training above and beyond the requisite PhD degree necessary to practice as a periodontist. His diplomate status makes him one of the few specialists “universally recognized by the public, the dental profession, the medical community, and third-party payers as the preferred providers of periodontal and dental implant surgical care,” according to the American Board of Periodontology. As a clinical assistant professor at the UNC School of Dentistry, on account of his Diplomate certification by the American Board of Periodontology, and because of his notable achievements beyond the mandatory educational requirements of the specialty, Dr. Singletary is excited to share his knowledge of periodontology with Midtown Magazine’s readers this winter.
Drawing from his impressive experience as a practitioner and his successful completion of over 3,000 implant placements and various other procedures, Dr. Singletary answers the question, “Should You See a Periodontist?” He discusses the signs for which to be on the lookout, such as swollen or tender gums or shifting teeth, and he explains how a periodontist can help. Read Dr. Singletary’s full answer in the January and February issues of Midtown Magazine!
